d. Image Data and Text Recognition
When you use our feature to scan receipt images, the app collects and processes these images to extract transaction information. This process involves sending the images to an Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosted image recognition service, and the extracted data is returned exclusively to Lintbook for your personal use.
No third party, aside from AWS, has access to the images or the data processed from them. We recommend reviewing all automatically generated transaction data for accuracy, as the image recognition process may occasionally result in errors.
